Join Gwyn Williams for a transformative Level 1 training that weaves together the teachings of Yoga Asana, Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Thai massage, 5 Element Theory and Osteopathic principles.

This is a 4 day, live-in, immersive experience into bodywork, connection and the art of therapeutic touch.

This training is well known for being much more than just a  bodywork training and is an opportunity to cultivate inner awareness, expand your heart and connect with a conscious, supportive community.

Ideal for yoga lovers, bodyworkers, therapists, and curious humans wanting to expand their understanding of embodied healing through touch, mindfulness and presence.

This is the perfect introduction into the world of ZenThai Shiatsu and once you've completed a Level 1 Training, you are eligible for the 9-month Zenthai Shiatsu practitioner training and all other trainings around Australia, if you choose to go deeper.

The Location

Your sanctuary for the training is WildWing, a unique bush retreat, on Tasmania's north East Coast.

WildWing is the perfect place to sink in and be supported to learn, whilst unwinding and delighting in the wild and natural world.

WildWing has been designed to support and live in a symbiotic relationship with nature. This means 100% solar power, regeneration of native bush & water systems that support native vegetation and animal habitat, composting and minimal waste systems and a general low impact attitude on the landscape.

Set on 25 acres of bush, with a fresh water creek and a 15-20 minute walk to the ocean, it is the perfect place to sync with the stars and the rhythms of the natural world.

All of the facilities for you to have a comfortable stay are provided, including hot showers, compost toilets, kitchen facilities, undercover hang areas, indoor training space, indoor and outdoor fires and a beautiful cedar-barrel hot tub, for soaking the bones under the stars in the evenings.

All accommodation at WildWing is camping (in either tent/swag or van/car). If you don't have your own camping gear, we have deluxe double swags available to rent, for a minimal fee.

.

If you're not familiar with Tassie's North East coast, then prepare to be in awe of the sublime beauty on offer.  Surrounded by pristine beaches, fresh waterholes and with the warmth of late summer, you can enjoy the full magic of this place.

To get a deeper sense of our East Coast location, check out some pics below.

Directions to WildWing will be issued upon booking (~2 hours from Launceston, ~3.5 hours drive from Hobart).

Food for the Soul

We know how important it is to nourish the body in every way, which is why we have the beautiful Jo Arohanui Wolff to fill your bellies during the training.

Jo is a wholefood cook who is committed and passionate about healing through food.

She focuses on local and organic where ever possible and loves making delicious wholesome meals and treats that your entire system will love.

Jo will be preparing morning tea, along with yummy vegetarian lunches and dinners every day of the training.

You'll be able to drop in and focus on learning and integrating the teachings, knowing that your food needs are taken care of.

There is a communal kitchen to self cater for breakfast, if you choose to, or if you'd like to add your own meat options to the vegetarian meals.
